Escapist

Introduction:

Hi, this is a 3D VR Puzzle game made for my project for Game Programming 4 called "Escapist".  It is a game about a person waking up in an abandoned hospital and have nowhere to go to. The only thing in mind is to escape the horror. The game is made in VR Mobile.

Responsibilities: 

• Implement the core mechanics and sub-mechanics for game which include programming UI, Audio and other sub features
• Implement 3D VR for mobile game
• Make UI Art in Adobe Photoshop and Importing into the game
• Search for commercial use music & audio (In-game Credits)
• Implement Background music & SFX based on theme
• Plan and design the game based on puzzles with escape room elements
• Playtest the game thoroughly on mobile for each feature implemented
• To be able to fix any bugs & issues faced in-game immediately

Game's Story Description:

You woke up in an eerie abandoned hospital with nowhere to go to and the first thing in mind is to escape the horror. You are trapped in a  locked room and in need to find a key. Would you be able to escape this place?

Controls:

Pan your mobile phone in 360 VR mode and interact/pickup items by tapping on the phone screen. To use an item, tap on the inventory to use the item or swap with another item.
