Introduction:

Hi, this is my 3D Unity Game group project made for my Game Design & Development Studio 2 called "Omagatoki".  It is a 3D Tower Defense action game where you have to fend off demonic spirits and protect the floating islands in Fantasy Japanese Culture!

Game Made By: 

Haoting (Team Lead, Programmer), Hamzah( Me, Lead Programmer), Bryan (Programmer), Russell Teo (Lead Artist), Man Wen (Artist), Elsie (Artist)

Responsibilities:

  • Program basic programming mechanics and UI programming 
  • Help integrate the art from artists in the game to help artists to see how it looks like in-game
  • Build game & record gameplay video at every milestone
  • Playtest game builds weekly for bugs and improvement
  • Research & help find sub-mechanics that can be implemented in the game

Game's Story Description:

Omagatoki is a tower defence game set in a fantasy Japanese world upon floating islands where you fend off demonic spirits attacking your castle and you have to build defences and execute spells to stop their approach.

ŌmaToki also means the time of meeting Yokai which just happens to be the same demonic spirits out to kill you... yay!

Controls:

To Move: W, A, S, D

To Rotate: Q & E

To Move Faster: Shift + W, A, S, D

To Place Towers: Click on chosen tower and place it on the platforms

To Upgrade/Sell Tower: Click on the tower to toggle

To Place Spells: Click on chosen spell and place it on the enemy/tower on the ground

Note: 

There would be no Audio played due to a known bug in Unity 2020.2.0f1 when uploading WebGL into Itch.IO. Check here once its fixed : https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/audio-no-longer-plays-in-build
